Social Responsibility

Social Responsibility is a voluntarily assumed obligation toward the good of a larger social unit as opposed to the self alone or in other words responnsibilities citizens have to their society and nation.

Social Responsibility involves considering the effects or outcome actions might have on society. You have social responsibility for everyone, from your friends, to your family, to kids, and even to strangers.
Whether it's your actions or someone elses, you have a responsibility because your actions can influence what happens. There are multiple cases of social responsibility, such as the scenarios below.
Scenario 1:
A group of high school students have this plan they consider to be fun, but it will put many other peoples lives in danger. An outsider finds out and informs the authorities, saving the others lives.
Scenario 2:
(This scenario shows bad social responsibility)
There are a group of close female friends. All of them tend to dress decent except one of them. Because of the way she dresses, not only herself, but her friends are judged the same.

You are right when it comes to the 1st line about it being voluntary. I also like your approach on the topic. Great job

Your right not everyone has to as it's voluntary but why not? I understand how you can just turn away and just do what you feel to but I mean we're all people help others but don't push unto them your ideals.

Wow, didn't see this in you Brooke. The way you worded it just pulled me in, but the two scenarios made me love it.

okay, okay, I like how you say its voluntary, however I also believe that its should just be natural to state your opinion and tell your friend or even a stranger about what they are doing in public. But then again this is most likely my own personal view and not a fact.

First off, I almost went blind attempting to read because of the little flashy thingy on the side, but I covered it up with this pop out comment thingy :D Anyhow, I agree totally on how you considered it a voluntary action.
